Community outreach to us means that we are committed to making our world a more hopeful place. It all starts with our own community.
Our success is not only measured by our financial strength, but by how we positively impact the lives of others in our community and the world. Our mission is to EXCEED EXPECTATIONS in customer service and social responsibility. Connect with us if you’ve got an event we can collaborate with.
In May 2019, we sponsored the La Verne Police Officer’s Association’s First Annual Charity Golf Tournament. The event benefited the La Verne Youth and Family Action Committee.
The La Verne Police Officer’s Association’s mission is to partner with the community and provide quality police services through community outreach, interaction, professionalism, and integrity.
The La Verne Youth and Family Action Committee fights against drug and alcohol abuse, gang activity, and other destructive behaviors.
We believe it is important to be part of the change you want to see for your community. It was a great day supporting our local community, police department, and the future of our youth.
For more than 75 years, Little League has partnered with companies to help keep the costs for local Little Leagues to a minimum and to provide a fun and rewarding experience.
We are proud to have been a sponsor for the Brea Little League. Dustin D’Amato, ASi DataComm manager, coached a team of 12 five-year-olds and together they learned more than just baseball.
Along with throwing, catching, hitting, and base running they learned commitment, teamwork, humility, cooperation, determination, and how to deal with adversity.
And what did Dustin learn…he learned how to dive and roll to avoid his son’s line drive at the pitcher and how great it feels to give back to our community. Lifelong lessons…
One of our favorite community outreach efforts was donating over 50 pairs of shoes to children ages 5-12 at Rowan Elementary School in Los Angeles.
We partnered with Shoes That Fit, a non-profit organization started in Claremont, California that is changing the lives of children one pair of shoes at a time.
Shoes that Fit is taking on one of the most visible signs of poverty in America by giving children in need new athletic shoes allowing them to attend school with dignity and joy, prepared to learn, play, and thrive.
The benefits do not stop there. The participating schools report increased self-esteem, physical activity, improved behavior, and improved attendance.
Since its beginning in 1992, Shoes that Fit has provided over 2 million pairs of brand new shoes to children across the United States. We look forward to partnering with them again soon.
